>>>>> Dave Riley/Bob Corritore CD Release Party during Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival announced! October 6, 2007, 3pm Delta Cultural Center Annex: The Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival (formerly known as the King Biscuit Blues Festival) is an amazing gathering of mostly traditional blues artists in the heart of the legendary city of Helena, Arkansas. Helena is most famous as the home of Rice Miller, AKA Sonny Boy Williamson II. Helena is where Sonny Boy performed the King Biscuit Time live radio broadcasts on KFFA, heard throughout the South. Helena was also the home at points in time to great bluesmen, like Robert Lockwood, Jr., Frank Frost, John Weston, Pinetop Perkins, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, and Dave Riley. This is the place where Dave Riley and Bob Corritore met, and began a musical partnership that has resulted in their new CD on Blue Witch Records, Travelin' The Dirt Road. To celebrate this new release, they will host a CD release party in conjunction with the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival. The party is on Saturday, October 6, 2007, 3pm at the Delta Cultural Center Annex, 223 Cherry Street, Helena, AR, 72342, and admission is free! There will be a one-hour performance starting at 3pm, followed by a CD signing. Also appearing in Helena in that period are Pinetop Perkins with Bob Margolin, Willie King, Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets, Sam Carr's Delta Jukes (featuring Dave Riley), Blinddog Smokin' with Bobby Rush, Smokin' Joe Kubek featuring B'Nois King, Dave Weld, and more. For a complete lineup, click here. Please support this fantastic blues festival, and while there, attend the Dave Riley/Bob Corritore CD release party.

>>>>> Carol Fran Update: This update on Carol Fran in from Holly Bullamore of Bullamore Artist Management (who manages Carol). In a previous newsletter, we reported that Carol (recovering from a stroke) had resumed performing, but was not back to playing piano yet. Holly writes: "I thought I'd mention to you that Carol is playing piano again, she's just taking slowly, as she still has a little trouble playing piano and singing at the same time. So, she'll take a solo here and there and play instrumentals. We're confident that with time, she'll be back to full speed."

France's Blues Magazine features Bob Corritore online: Francois Pfeiffer's great magazine, called Blues Magazine, has just put up a nice post featuring Bob Corritore on their website (Click here to see). >>>>> This just in from Karen Leipziger/KL Productions: Phoenix, AZ - Blue Witch Records is proud to announce the release of HOUSE ROCKIN' AND BLUES SHOUTIN'! Celebrating 15 Years of the Rhythm Room and DAVE RILEY and BOB CORRITORE TRAVELIN' THE DIRT ROAD on September 11, 2007.

HOUSE ROCKIN' AND BLUES SHOUTIN'! celebrates 15 years of Phoenix, AZ's Roots and Blues Concert Club, The Rhythm Room. The 14 tracks, recorded live, features THE FABULOUS THUNDERBIRDS, ROBERT LOCKWOOD, JR., FLOYD DIXON, THE MANNISH BOYS featuring FINIS TASBY, LOUISIANA RED, HENRY GRAY, BILLY BOY ARNOLD, PAUL OSCHER, JOHNNY DYER, KID RAMOS, SONNY RHODES, BIG PETE PEARSON and The RHYTHM ROOM ALL-STARS, BOB CORRITORE, CHIEF SCHABUTTIE GILLIAME, and LONG JOHN HUNTER, and represents highlights of performances at the club recorded between 1997 and 2006. Produced by harmonica player/club owner Bob Corritore, HOUSE ROCKIN' AND BLUES SHOUTIN'! takes you through a varied program of the many artists and shades of blues that can be heard nightly at The Rhythm Room. These sides capture the great blues artists interacting with great blues audiences and the magical moments that resulted.

Guitar player/singer DAVE RILEY and harmonica player BOB CORRITORE's TRAVELIN' THE DIRT ROAD takes the listener on a musical journey through the Delta. Produced by Bob Corritore, TRAVELIN' THE DIRT ROAD features 10 original tracks of powerful down home blues, including 8 Dave Riley compositions and two ("I'm Not Your Junkman" and "Doggone Blues") written by his friend (and former band mate), the late John Weston. Dave and Bob met three years ago, and quickly became fast friends and musical collaborators. They have a natural blues chemistry, with Riley's gritty Mississippi vocals and down home blues guitar, and Corritore's passionate, full-toned harp playing; and the result is a musical joy and exuberance all too seldom heard.

KBA Award-winning triple threat harmonica player/producer/club owner BOB CORRITORE’s deep and varied blues history is highlighted on the new Blue Witch Records releases. Growing up in Chicago, Bob began playing harmonica at age 13, learning from some of Chicago's blues legends -- Big Walter Horton, Junior Wells, Louis Myers, and others. Bob performed around Chicago with some of the city's greatest bluesmen. In 1981, he relocated to Arizona. His harmonica appears on over 25 recordings. Bob's played with many of the blues greats, including Jimmy Rogers, Bo Diddley, Sam Lay, Pinetop Perkins, Honeyboy Edwards, R.L. Burnside, Koko Taylor, and Willie Dixon. As a Grammy®-nominated producer, Bob Corritore lives to be in the studio, and has a history of production credits on over 36 CDs. The CDs he's produced have earned a solid reputation among fans of traditional blues. In addition, Bob hosts a weekly radio show, "Those Lowdown Blues" on KJZZ in Phoenix, AZ, and is the owner of The Rhythm Room.

Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, guitar player/singer/songwriter DAVE RILEY spent his formative years playing and singing Gospel music. He moved to Chicago's West Side as a teenager, living near Maxwell Street and its vibrant Blues scene. After joining the Army, he played in a military band traveling from base to base entertaining the troops and opening USO shows. In the mid-90s, Riley met Blues legends Sam Carr, Frank Frost, and John Weston. They formed a friendship and a musical bond, which lead Riley back to the Delta and back into Blues full time.

HOUSE ROCKIN' AND BLUES SHOUTIN'! and TRAVELIN' THE DIRT ROAD are the second and third releases this year by Phoenix, AZ-based Blue Witch Records. The earlier release, Blues shouter BIG PETE PEARSON's acclaimed I'M HERE BABY! (February 2007) "Represents the best of vintage and modern blues." (Ron Wynn/Nashville City Paper)

Dear Highly Valued PRS Customers,

Paul Reed Smith here. Our 1st Annual “Experience PRS” Open House on September 28 and 29 is rapidly approaching and is turning into a very exciting event. To start off the event, Al DiMeola has generously agreed to conduct a seminar for the early birds from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28. We are looking forward to this rare opportunity.

The Open House “officially” kicks off on Friday night, September 28, with a concert featuring many PRS artists. Confirmed artists are David Grissom (who tore it down at the Austin NAMM show), Mark Tremonti, Miles Kennedy, Chris Henderson, Johnny Hiland, The Grainger Brothers, Derek St. Holmes and Dan Toler (of the Allman Brothers). The amount of remarkable musicians that will have the opportunity to jam together is not trivial. It’s going to be a great night of music and food that is not to be missed.

The next day, Saturday, September 29 will be all-day non-stop clinics, guitar making workshops, archive seminars, artist seminars and interactive factory tours. We have four large event stages under separate roofs that will have an event every hour all day.

The final event will be a chance for attendees to interactively communicate with all the artists together. It is another not-to-be missed day.

The final kicker is that PRS will be making several landmark announcements, including releasing a new model. I highly recommend that you sign up today. Please contact your local authorized PRS dealer for instructions on how to register for the open house. To find an authorized PRS dealer in your area, visit www.prsguitars.com/dealer.asp.

It is important to note that customers cannot attend without a sponsoring dealer. If you plan on attending, your dealer can put you on the event guest list, get you a pass and direct you to local accommodation information. PRS has blocked out rooms at various local hotels and free shuttle transportation will be provided to/from these hotels to/from the PRS factory on Friday and Saturday courtesy of PRS.

We’ve pulled out all the stops on this one.

Sincerely,

Paul Reed Smith

2007 marks the 22nd Anniversary of the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival (formerly The King Biscuit Festival). The festival has changed over the years from just one stage to four, from covering just a corner of downtown to six city blocks, from just 1500 fans the first year to over 100,000 thousand fans. But the festival has stayed the same, it is still about the music and it is still free. If you've not been to one, you are truly missing a landmark blues event. The festival is scheduled for October 4, 5 and 6., 2007 in Helena, Arkansas and desperately needs the help of blues fans everywhere.
http://www.bluesandheritage.com/

We in the Bay Area are blessed with a wealth of blues talent and so it is fitting that the folks at The Redwood City Blues Jam, The Little Fox Theater and nationally known blues journalist Ms. Dorothy Hill have joined to present a benefit for the Festival and for its sponsor, the Sonny Boy Blues Society (SBBS), a 501c3 non-profit organization established to present and preserve the cultural heritage of the Delta.  We have assembled an amazing line-up of award-winning blues artists who have generously donated their time and talents for this event.  What you will hear and see is in fact a festival in it's own right, except held in the intimate environment of the Bay Area's premier live music venue, Redwood City's Little Fox Theater. There is no cover charge for this event, but it's not free.  We hope you will help us make the festival possible by coming to the show and giving generously to keep this essential cornerstone of the blues alive for years to come.

There will be a raffle of vintage posters, CD’s, T-shirts, and festival related memorabilia.  There will also be a silent auction of two limited edition posters autographed by festival artists and two VIP packages to the 2007 Arkansas Blues & Festival and more.  An on-line auction of the special packages will be available from August 13th until 7 p.m. August 22nd via e-mail to [email protected].  A list of auction and raffle items is available to view at the website http://savethebiscuit.tripod.com/.  All donations are tax deductible.

Last Exit, Bantree Band, The Axis plays Hendrix, BPO, El Skadoo.....)

ALLIGATOR RECORDS SIGNS
THE SMOKIN’ JOE KUBEK BAND

FEATURING BNOIS KING!

NEW CD EXPECTED IN JANUARY 2008

Smokin’ Joe Kubek's big-as-Texas lead guitar and Bnois King's jazz-laced rhythm guitar and hearty vocals are a great combination. They are simply the best tandem on the scene today. King's jazzy guitar work is the perfect foil to Kubek's more incendiary style."    –Blues Revue

Alligator Records is pleased to announce the signing of The Smokin’ Joe Kubek Band Featuring Bnois King. The Texas-based rock and blues band is fueled by the raucous roadhouse guitar of Smokin’ Joe Kubek, perfectly complimented by the more jazz-oriented guitar work and vocals of Bnois King. The band, which was formed in 1989, will release their as yet untitled label debut in January 2008, to be produced by Kubek and Alligator president Bruce Iglauer.

According to Iglauer, “Joe and Bnois are a real powerhouse blues combination. Joe is an amazing guitarist who can play anything in blues, from the most traditional Texas style to totally blowout blues/rock. Bnois is a gorgeous singer with deep Texas soul, and his guitar playing is subtle and melodic. Together they make an unbeatable two-man front line backed by a solid, versatile rhythm section.”

And Kubek is simply thrilled to be with Alligator. “Alligator is the Rolls Royce of blues labels. After all my life of being a musician, this is the greatest achievement and brightest spot of my career. I’m looking forward to making the best recordings I’ve ever made, and I’m looking forward to seeing all of our fans on tour.”

Kubek was born in Grove City, PA in 1956 but grew up in Dallas. He was leading his own bands when he was only 14, and was bowled over by the blues a short time after first hearing Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Kubek soon discovered the music of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and other early blues masters. By the time he was 19, he was backing many famous blues players in the area, including legend Freddie King. In 1976 Kubek was about to head out on tour with King when King died suddenly of a heart attack.

Kubek next worked with R&B singer Al “TNT” Braggs and made a host of new friends, including B.B. King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many other blues icons. He often found himself jamming with these larger-than-life blues stars while playing constantly around the Dallas area.

In 1989, Kubek met guitarist/vocalist Bnois King, a native of Monroe, Louisiana. The two melded their seemingly divergent styles – Kubek a rocking and fierce picker and slider, King a jazz-inflected chorder – into one of the most potent guitar combinations the Southwest had ever produced. Kubek explains the relationship succinctly: “I pull the blues out of him, and he pulls the jazz out of me.”

Calling themselves The Smokin’ Joe Kubek Band Featuring Bnois King, they were signed to Bullseye Blues and released their debut CD, Stepping Out Texas Style, in 1991. The band immediately grew out of the Southwest and began touring nationally. After a successful series of Bullseye releases, they signed to Blind Pig Records in 2003. Their popularity continued to build on the strength of their music and the energy of their live shows, which number over 150 dates per year.

Now, as the band’s newest chapter is unfolding, they will reach their largest audience yet. Kubek and King are itching to get into the studio and record in Dallas in September, and even more excited to hit the road and bring their distinctive and incendiary music to every corner of the blues-loving world.

You're Invited!

A JOURNEY TO SATURN

Last month Jason Ricci took time off from his hectic touring schedule to record his Eclecto Groove Records debut at the House Of Blues recording studio in Los Angeles, CA. The sessions produced by Grammy Award winning producer John Porter feature Jason's eclectic musical fusion that he calls "...half rock...half blues...all EVIL!" Finishing a whole two days ahead of schedule, the band consisting of Shawn Starsky on guitar, Todd "Buck Weed" Edmunds on bass, and Ron Sutton on drums, sounded truly inspired as they played songs that had been thoroughly road tested during their constant and exhaustive performances out on the road. Disappointed with previous attempts at capturing his own distinct and unique sound on disc, Jason recently and enthusiastically remarked "...the record rules, Delta Groove rules, John Porter rules!" Look for Jason Ricci & New Blood's worldwide debut release coming this Fall.

BRIGHT LIGHTS BIG CITY

Eclecto Groove recording artist Ana Popovic has recently signed a movie deal to appear in the upcoming Big Sky Motion Pictures release "Spring Break '83." The film directed by Scott Spiegal, who has worked on such blockbuster hits as "Spiderman," "Spiderman 2," "From Dusk Till Dawn 2," "Darkman," "Hostel," and "Hostel 2," is a hilarious coming of age teen comedy that celebrates everything that was great about the 80's, from the outrageous parties and tiny bikinis, to the rock music and big hair. Look for Ana and her music to appear in this soon to become comedy classic at a theater near you!

LAND OF THE MIDNIGHT SUN

This month the Mannish Boys embark on their first appearance on one of Europe's most internationally renowned and unique Blues festivals. The Notodden Blues Festival, which is celebrating their 20th year anniversary on August 2-5, takes place in the tiny town of Notodden, home to a population of only 12,000, that annually welcomes in a crowd of over 30,000 Blues fans from around the globe. Because the northern half of Norway lies across the Artic Circle, true darkness never occurs in the region between late May and mid August. This years' festival features a world class lineup that includes Delbert McClinton, Neville Brothers, Alvin Lee, Steve Winwood, Omar Kent Dykes & Jimmie Vaughan's "Jimmy Reed Highway" feat. Lou Ann Barton, Magic Slim & the Teardrops, Jeremy Spencer, Vidar Busk & the Voo Doodz, Janiva Magness, Paul Oscher, David Honeyboy Edwards, Knut Reiersrud, Watermelon Slim & the Workers and many, many more. >>>>> Tail Dragger suffers mild heart attack: Kevin Johnson of Delmark Records reports that West Side Chicago blues singer (and Howlin' Wolf disciple) James "Tail Dragger" Jones had a mild heart attack on Monday night. Kevin's e-mail stated the following:

"Tail Dragger had a very mild heart attack last night, but he is doing all right. Bertha (Tail Dragger's wife) called me today, told me he had been experiencing some chest pains, and went to his Doctor; his doctor said 'There is nothing wrong with your heart'! The pain got worse, so he drove himself to the emergency room. Bertha said his appetite is great, and the hospital is checking on his progress. Tail Dragger is at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, IL."

Bob and Tail Dragger have a long friendship. Bob first met Tail Dragger at a tribute to Howlin' Wolf at the 1815 Club in Chicago (where Wolf regularly played), the day after Wolf died. Bob would then see Tail Dragger shows with Eddie Taylor and Big Leon Brooks in his band. Bob would later record Big Leon Brooks; and, for the recording session, Bob borrowed Tail Dragger's PA as an amplifier for Leon's harp. This CD is currently available on Earwig Records. Bob also played with Tail Dragger around Chicago in the late 70s and early 80s (often at the Delta Fish Market). They still keep in touch, and occasionally do shows together. Tail Dragger's most recent CD/DVD, My Head Is Bald on Delmark, is a brilliant example of Tail Dragger's great live show. Prayers for a full and speedy recovery for the great Tail Dragger.

>>>>> Delmark Records to produce three new Chicago Blues DVD / CDs: As is typical for this fine label, they are documenting the true tradition of Chicago Blues with three DVD filmings forthcoming. This is the latest per Kevin Johnson:

Byther Smith: Friday, August 17, 2007 at Natural Rhythm Social Club, 2000 W. 59th St., Chicago, IL 60636

Special thanks to label Chief Bob Koester for his dedication to preserving Chicago Blues as it is performed in the blues club environment. To check out the Delmark website, click here; and to see photo pages from the Delmark photo archives, click here and here.

>>>>> Big Pete online article from Finland's Blues News: Note that this article was mentioned in the Bob Corritore Newsletter of July 8, 2007, but we just found it online version. To see this online article complete with great photos from Bob's archives, click here.

>>>>> Australian Airplay: Thanks to Henry Prokop from Brisbane, Australia for featuring Big Pete Pearson/I'm Here Baby on Blue Witch Records (Produced by Bob Corritore) on his blues and roots radio show called Honky Tonk Blues on 101.1FM.

>>>>> Lineup additions to Sept 2nd Down Home Blues Festival plus David Horwitz blues photo show: On Sunday, September 2, 2007 ( Labor Day weekend), the Rhythm Room will host a Down Home Blues Festival with Honeyboy Edwards, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Tomcat Courtney, Big Pete Pearson & The Rhythm Room All-Stars, and -- just added, an opening set by Paris James. >>>>> Jimmy T-99 Nelson passes at 88: This just in from the Supporting The Blues MySpace site (this information also appears on Wikipedia):

Jimmy "T-99" Nelson, the last of the real-deal blues shouters, died on Sunday July 29, 2007 of cancer at St. Dominic's Nursing Home in Houston. Born in 1919, Jimmy "T-99" Nelson had a recording career that spanned over 50 years and established Jimmy as one of the true elder statesman of American music.

Nelson got his start singing in church. In 1941, he saw a performance by Big Joe Turner, and realized he wanted to sing the blues. Big Joe taught Jimmy about singing, performance, and the music business. Jimmy, in turn, absorbed the shouting style of his mentor.

From 1951 through 1961, Nelson released eight singles with the Bihari Brothers' Modern/RPM label. The biggest of these was the classic "T-99 Blues" (which refers to old Texas Highway 99), which debuted in June 1951. It stayed on the national R&B charts for twenty-one weeks, and reached #1. In 1952, Nelson had another RPM hit with "Meet Me With Your Black Dress On”.

Nelson began touring and performing with bands led by Joe Liggins and Roy Milton, and playing venues, including the Apollo and Howard Theaters. Nelson cut singles for a number of labels including Kent, Chess, Music City, Paradise, and All Boy.

In 1955, Nelson met and married his Nettie (also deceased) and adopted Houston as his hometown. For the next 20 years, Nelson settled down and took a job working construction, though he continued to write songs and sit in with bands.

In the 1980s, Nelson came to the wider attention of blues fans when Ace issued ten of his sides on an album. Nelson since has resumed touring and has released two albums, including 1999's "Rockin' And Shoutin' The Blues" (Rounder Records) and "Take Your Pick" (Nettie Marie Records/2002). In 2004, Ace recently released "Cry Hard Luck" featuring re-issues of Nelson's Kent & RPM recordings from 1951-1961.

After a long period of dormancy, Nelson launched a successful comeback in 1998. His late-period song "I'm Sure Going to Miss Show Business" was discovered by Elvis Costello, who played a recording of Nelson's version at the close of all his shows on his 2003 world tour.

Nelson was a fantastic singer, the last of his kind, and one of the finest songwriters the blues has ever known."

Thanks to Rob Lehrian, of the Supporting The Blues MySpace site, for the above obituary.

Hello Blues Friends,

It's been a while since I've sent out one of these announcements.  I hope you're all enjoying the summer and getting out to lots of great blues festivals.  They're in full bloom, and at this time of the year there's one just about every weekend in some place or another.

Should you be really bored and want to know how I've been enjoying the blues lately, you can do so by clicking on the following links. Who knows, you may actually enjoy some of the pictures and articles:

Springing the Blues Festival
Taste of the Blues Music Festival
Ancient City Blues Society Festival
2007 Blues Music Awards Photographs

Coming up in the fall, these are several events I'm recommending to those of you in the areas mentioned:

* "The 8th Annual Culloden Chick Willis Homecoming Blues Festival" -->
http://www.hubbardalumni.org/bluesfestival.htm

Saturday, September 1, 2007, beginning at 10 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. - Culloden, GA (West of Macon).
So far, the lineup consists of: Chick Willis and & Band - The Cazanovas - Lola Gully & Chicago Joe, with other local artists to be added.  The ticket cost is $12 advance and $15 at the gate.  Foods, beer  and arts and crafts are available. Tents, umbrellas and chairs are needed for your comfort on Ellis Field in Culloden.  I attended this small, local festival on my way to Atlanta last year and had a wonderful time.  The organizers, the people, the performers, the park and the cause all made me decide that I'd come back to this one.  I'm also happy to announce that I'll be the events emcee.  I'm hoping to see a lot of my Atlanta friends at this one.  Here's how it went last year.....

Culloden Chick Willis Blues Festival, Georgia.

"5th Annual Stephen Miller Memorial Blues Bash" -->
Welcome Stephen Miller Blues online!

October 13, 2007 - Space Coast Harley Davidson - Palm Bay Road & I -95, Palm Bay Florida. This festival started out with a few local bands, playing in a park, to a full blow festival featuring many national touring acts, as well as some of the areas best locals.  Check out the website above for a list of performers.  I'll be co-hosting this event and am looking forward to seeing lots of my South Florida friends at this one.

* "National Women in Blues Festival" -->
National Women in Blues

The 2nd National Women in Blues Festival will be held in Wilmington, North Carolina on Friday November 2nd and Saturday November 3rd, 2007. It will include Women Blues Artists from all around the USA and possibly a few from across the pond.  This will be my first time at this event and I'm looking forward to spending a weekend in North Carolina in the fall.  Mary 4 Music will be making the trip south for this one as well, and we're both excited to finally get to meet some of our North Carolina friends.

* "Riverwalk Blues and Music Festival" -->
Home

(This is NOT a misprint.)  This festival has always been held in November, but uncontrollable circumstances forced the November, 2006 event to be postponed until April of 2007.  Getting it back to it's November time slot forces the promoters to either skip a year or double up.  The blues community will be happy to know they chose to double up.  Keep checking out their website for constant updates.

Attention Blues Brigade Members
(or anyone else who'd like to help)
Thank you for the constant updates you continue to send to us on your local clubs, festival and radio stations.   They are very valuable at keeping the information, that www.Mary4Music.com provides to all of the blues world, up to date and accurate.   In case it's been awhile since you've checked, please click the following links and let us know if there are any changes, additions, deletions or updates to any of the information in your areas.

GIORGIO SECCO GROUP (I/A)
Samstag, 11. August 2007, 21.00 Uhr!

Giorgio Secco – der Studio - und Livegitarrist von Eros Ramazotti, Annalisa Minetti, Toto Cotugno ... ist zweifellos einer der gefragtesten Musiker in der Musikszene Italiens. Seine neue CD „GAS FOR YOUR MIND“ möchte er an diesem Abend im Bluesiana live präsentieren. Sie bescherte ihm hervorragende Kritiken in allen wichtigen Print- u. Internetmagazinen. Begleitet wird er auf seiner aktuellen Tour von 2 Ausnahmemusikern:

Am Bass: Willi Langer - Österreichs Bassist Nr.1 (Reinhard Fendrich, Austria 3, Tina Turner, Count Basic, Ostinato etc...) Wer kennt Ihn nicht?

Am Schlagzeug: Peter Bosek – DER aufsteigende Stern am österreichischen und internationalen Schlagzeug-Himmel! Begeisterte Kritiken von internationalen namhaften Musikern (u.a. Tim Carmon-Keyboarder Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Eric Clapton, Melena-US-Percussionistin von Stevie Wonder, Macy Gray, etc.) sowie Produzenten (u.a. Paul Lani-Produzent/L.A von Snoop Dog, Robbie Williams, U2, Bruno Brugnano-Grammy Award-Produzent von Künstlern u.a Christina Aquilera etc.).

Line up:
Giorgio Secco – Guitar
Willi Langer – Bass
Peter Bosek - Drums

CYRILL NEVILLE "Tribe13"
Mittwoch, 15. August 2007, 20.30 Uhr!
UND Donnerstag, 16. August 2007, 20.30 Uhr!

„The Freedom Concert“
am 31. August 2007

in der Osterkirche, 13353 Berlin-Wedding, (Samoastrasse 14)
Beginn: 19.00 Uhr, Eintritt: 12.00 Euro

Jürgen Kerth / Engerling / Waldi Weiz Band feat. Tom Blacksmith /
Big Joe Stolle /Hollys Bluesband

Waldi Weiz Band feat. Tom Blacksmith

Dagmar Greupner
Pfarrerin der Ostergemeinde Wedding.
Christian Graf
Moderator vom DeutschlandRadio Kultur.
Und der Star des Abends
Die Osterkirche
Nach nur 13monatiger Bauzeit wurde die Osterkirche am 18. Juni 1911 eingeweiht.
